To Whom It May Concern:
My husband and I were desperate to get some training for our two dogs, Louis and Charlie. We had recently had a baby and had to get some boundaries put in place for the dogs, who had previously owned the place!
Working with Alisa was really great, she took the time to fully understand our situation and manage our exceptions in terms of how we could achieve the results we wanted. The whole process was really easy and I couldn’t believe how quickly the dogs responded to the Dogtech program as I had really believed they were un-trainable.
I liked the fact that you used one voice command to correct them, rather than a series of different processes, which we had done with other trainers and found it confusing and a lot of work.
We are very happy with the results and Alisa’s ability to train us on how to manage our dogs. I would absolutely recommend Alisa to anyone who needs help with there dogs.

It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Alisa Voss. I met Alisa in August 2011, when in desperation I rang DogTech seeking help for a growling problem. Bandit is a eight year old Bull Arab, who has been growling at other dogs for the last four years, making walking him difficult and somewhat humiliating. Having recently moved to the Sunshine Coast, I was desperate to be able to walk Bandit on the beach without being stressed about an off leash dog approaching us.
After attending puppy school, adult dog training and private training before, I doubted that there was any hope for him. Alisa was confident that we could get Bandit to the point where we could walk him on a leash without him growling at any approaching dogs. It was through her positive attitude that I became motivated to fix our problem.
Alisa has a deep understanding of dog psychology. Bandit had respect for her within minutes of meeting her. She conducted a thorough assessment of our situation and devised a plan to help us manage his behaviour. This plan was as much about educating me as it was about training Bandit.
Alisa helped me to develop an understanding of my own behaviour when training Bandit so that I could convey the appropriate messages to him.
All of the training methods that Alisa used were completely humane, and focused on engaging Bandit’s way of thinking. Even after the first visit, I could see changes in Bandit’s behaviour. As we progressed through the program, the growling episodes with other dogs decreased, and I am now able to manage Bandit’s behaviour on my own.
Alisa always remained in complete control of Bandit in all situations. When I was stressed by Bandit’s behaviour, Alisa provided me with explanations and reassurance, giving me the confidence to continue with the training. Bandit and I still have a little way to go in our training, but I now feel confident that we will reach our goals. I enjoy walking him now, and I’m not afraid of other dogs. With every challenge I encounter, Alisa is available by phone or email to suggest solutions.
I have no hesitation in recommending Alisa to assist you in solving your dog’s behavioural problem.
