Dog Day by the Bay – Pittwater Council

Pittwater Council are holding their annual Dog Day by the Bay at Rowland Reserve, Bayview on Sunday 23 September 2012.

Sponsored by PetO, highlights include TV vet Dr Katrina Warren, and popular MCs Brian and Kaye from Essential Pet.

John Vella from DogTech has donated prizes to be given out to winners of some of the competitions held on the day.

The PetO ‘Dog of the Year’ photo competiton winners will be announced followed by the cutting of the Pittwater 20th Birthday Dog cake at 12.35pm.  This time it is the Dog’s turn to celebrate the 20 years of Pittwater Council’s inception.  There will be delicious Birthday dog cake / treats  on offer for the dogs to try.

Dog Day by the Bay runs from 10am to 3pm and other activities include agility demonstrations, education talks, children’s activities in the kids’ corner and lots of competitions to enter and win great prizes including the very popular Canine Fancy Dress Parade kicking off proceedings at 10am.

Stall holders will showcase their goods and services that you can browse and buy for your pets.  There will be food and drink stalls to keep you refreshed throughout the day.  All proceeds from Stall holders fees and donations rasied on the day will be donated tolocal branches of the Animal Welfare League.

Entry and parking are free for this event.

Liverpool Council Microchip Day

Liverpool Council are holding their annual Microchip Day at Woodward Park, Cnr. Hoxton Park Road and Liverpool Road on 15 September 2012.

Les Treuer from DogTech will be conducting two training demonstrations at 10.30 and 11.30 am.

Warringah Council Dogs Big Day Out 2013

This popular event was a fun day out for the whole family with activities ranging from animal demonstrations, agility trials, best trick, cutest puppy, dog and owner look-alike and best rescue dog competitions.

Paws in the Park – A Dogs Day Out – Camden

Pet Family Fun Day

Camden Council and community organisations will be running their first Paws in the Park in October. The day is shaping up to be a fantastic family and community event with a number of stalls, demonstrators and supporters, including DogTech®.

Entry is free and all participants will receive a Royal Canin doggy bag, with the first 200 to register to receive a toy. Funds raised will go to the RSPCA’s Community Animal Welfare Scheme (CAWS) and towards toys for Renbury Farm Animal Shelter.

Dogs Day Out

Manly Council’s Dogs Day Out at Clontarf

Manly Council’s annual Dogs Day Out will be held at Clontarf Reserve on Sunday 7 August from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm.

Bring your dog along on a leash and join in all the doggy activities, including, stalls, races, give-aways, competitions and entertainment.

Our own Dogtech® trainer, John Vella, will be doing a demonstration of Whisperwise® training at 11.00am in Ring 2. John will also be available to give advice on barking, aggression and separation anxiety and to help you with collars, treats and books.
