Dave & Anne Turner of DogTech Blue Mountains were on hand to support the Orchard Hills Vet Open day on Saturday 18 August 2012.
Their feedback was that it was a very positive day and they had been approached by a lot of people at their DogTech display stand, where they were able to answer questions on dog training.
Alisa Voss -Sunshine Coast
We welcome Alisa Voss, who has joined our Queensland Dogtech team to look after clients and their dogs in the Sunshine Coast.
Alisa has been involved in vet nursing for over 20 years and has post graduate behavioural qualifications. Alisa says that joining Dogtech as the Sunshine Coast representative allows her to fulfil her lifelong ambition to bring owners and their dogs closer together through gentle training methods and behavioural modification. She has been fortunate enough to own dogs from an early age and knows he incredible pleasure they bring when the relationship is harmonious. Alisa says that the loyalty, affection and love they give us is beyond measure. Having owned a variety of dog breeds including large and head-strong males, she says she is confident in working with all breeds, temperaments and sizes. Alisa is also currently training Assistance Dogs for the disabled, which she says is incredibly rewarding for her as well as the dogs and owners.
Troy Fitzgerald, our DogTech Gold Coast dog training instructor, called in at the Logan Pound to talk to the owners. While he was there he was walking through the puppy enclosure when he spotted a beautiful little Staffy X, 10 weeks old. She had apparently been abandoned in the Springwood Shopping Centre and given up to the pound. 
Troy took one look at those gorgeous eyes and just had to take her home with him! He has named her Shelby and we consider she won the ‘doggie lotto’ that day!

Essential learning for dogs
The Classes will offer training of adolescent & adult dogs in a group environment. The three-session course shares the secrets of how dogs learn with dog owners, and teaches dogs to obey basic commands that are essential learning for well-adjusted pets.
The course curriculum is based on DogTech® International’s gentle, reward based Whisper Wise® training methods developed by John Richardson. No harsh methods are used.

Lane Cove Furever Pets
John Vella of DogTech Northshore was pleased to support owner of Lane Cove Furever Pets, Alicia, during the recent Open Day of their new store.
Lane Cove Furever Pets are working with Sydney Dog and Cats Home as an Animal Adoption Partner to sell pets on a not-for-profit basis for the
Sydney Dog and Cats Home. Although they mainly supply cats, the store also directs people to the Home who are interested in adopting a dog.
