I am Danni Sheppet, and I am no stranger to the Veterinary/Pet services Industry.

Experience: My industry experience commenced over 14 years ago when I qualified as a Veterinary nurse. I spent over eight years in large and small animal & specialised practices where I was able to gain vast experience in the behaviour of many different breeds of dogs. My personal interest in the area of dog behaviour made the transition to qualified behaviourist a natural one.I also worked closely with Veterinary Dermatology Specialist Ken Mason to gain extensive knowledge and training in how to treat animal skin conditions & disease. Part of my role was to relay this technical information to vets and Vet nurses via in-clinic training & conference lectures on the origins of canine skin disease and the latest methods of treating canine skin issues.

Hi Danni,

This is Sue, we met you on Saturday to help us with Milly. Just thought I would drop you a line to let you know how things are going.

FANTASTIC!!!!!!

From that day things improved 100%. We went and bought great food from RSPCA and a couple of tethers (short chain thingys). She has been walked every day and her behaviour has been great. She is moving back from the door when we go out to the patio. She is sitting and staying when we place her food bowl down and she doesn’t eat until we say go–sometimes this still takes 2 or 3 goes. At night she comes in and sits straight on her bed and doesn’t move. Only once or twice S has had to attach the tether, she has not come running in and acting crazy and jumping on the lounge. The last two nights we have done this with Georgie (3 year old) on the lounge colouring in and Milly hasn’t bothered her at all. I am also changing the toys around outside as well,..AMAZING.

I took Georgie on the swings the other day and that went great–Milly got a couple of kicks to the head from the swing, but soon sat at my feet. Actually layed across my feet until I moved away. I am now training our 16 year old daughter who wasn’t there on Saturday and Milly is reacting quite well.

The test will be next week with the relos coming for a week, but you have been a great help in training US what to do.
